ELECTION SUMMARY
by Bill Goichberg

I AM VOTING FOR:

Jim Berry: Good business and financial credentials, active player and TD, organizer known for enjoyable high class events, helped find sponsorship for US Championship, settled Oklahoma conflict.

Don Schultz: Extensive experience in USCF governance, organizer of World Youth in Wisconsin, US Senior in Florida, New York International.

Stephen Jones: Attorney with Ph. D in math, FIDE Master, mediator.

Joe Lux: National TD, active player, scholastic teacher and coach.

ALSO ACCEPTABLE:

Randy Bauer: Financial expertise, USCF Master, seems to have less time for the Federation than the above four.

Mikhail Korenman: Has obtained grants for chess, has not campaigned enough to have much of a chance.

OTHER CANDIDATES:

Mike Goodall: Experienced promoter, but says Sloan is good board member.

Susan Polgar: Celebrity and good organizer, campaign disappointingly negative and misleading, loudly demands integrity and credibility but kept marriage to Truong secret from voters, ignores recent USCF membership and financial gains.

Paul Truong: Claims substantial executive experience but refuses to document this. Tediously pious, appallingly self-righteous negative campaign.

Sam Sloan: Reckless attacker, posts grossly inaccurate claims on web, has website with inappropriate sexual content, hurts USCF’s reputation.
