Post subject: For Hal: Document Altered By Sloan |

documents and statements emanating from Mr.
Sloan, I have seen overstatements, mistaken
assumptions, wrong conclusions, and other plain
old invalid things, but I have never seen a
document that has been shown to have been
doctored by him in any way. ... |
In addition, Hal seems to have completely skipped the
episode where Sloan altered an email from me to say
exactly the opposite of what I posted. |
Here is the prior post #31474 that I referred to from the topic

About Whom Criticism is Not Allowed:

This is a blatant Sam Sloan prevarication. Sam Sloan
maliciously modified my post disagreeing with Sloan's
erroneous posts about the Tennessee property by cutting
and pasting my comments from a reply to Sloan onto a
forged post to Grant Perks. This all happened within
Sloan's "FIDE-CHESS" Yahoo group. Sloan also cross
posted his forgery to other forums including RGCP.
The below URL to a message in FIDE-CHESS documents
Sloan's forgery.

Also, here is a brief rundown of the events in April 2005 as I
just relayed them to lblair:

In fact, we are both correct. Sloan pasted my reply to
Sloan (1) under a Grant Perks post (2) to make it seem
as if I were replying to Perks. Sloan also used that
faked post in another thread to say I was opposed to
Perks' POV (3).
The post I initially responded to was a Sloan response
to Bauer (4).

Finally, as a guide to the whole twisted affair is lblair's note
(#31505) from the same thread as above where lblair reproduces
the offending altered
note from Sloan (notice Sloan's Yahoo ID at the top) and the
actual post I authored after.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for posting this information. I am convinced that Mr.
Sloan did cobble together elements of different emails,
producing false impressions of your position.
Likewise, after reviewing the research posted by John Hillery
showing a BINFO originating from Bill Hall and then showing a
reponse by Mr. Sloan quoting that BINFO, but in which the
attribution of authorship of the original had been changed to
show it as written by Bill Goichberg, I am convinced that Mr.
Sloan does indeed alter or cobble together emails in ways that
are blatantly misleading.
I thank you both, as well as Mr. Falter and Tanstaffl, who
raised the initial challenge to me.
I still see this as somewhat different than the possibility that
the Truong resume may have been doctored, for all the reasons I
have expressed in previous posts.
